On November 18th, Thermtech has released the first compact mobile 1000 kW electric TCC® unit that will be installed at Averøya (Norway) during week
The unit bought and operated by SAR AS, will treat drill cuttings and other drilling waste.
SAR subsidiary Normiljø will soon install a second twin unit in Sandnessjøen (Norway).
The two new units will provide SAR customers with a more local treatment, reducing both the need for the transportation of the waste and the related costs.
The unit has been designed and built within a very limited time-frame. The capacity is approximately twice as high as earlier units, but still we have been able to reduce his size dramatically. With the addition of the TCC® unit in Averøya, the waste treatment with seven TCC® units becomes available all along the Norwegian coastline.
The TCC® technology is the leading thermal separation technology for the treatment of oily waste. Around 30 TCC® units are already operating worldwide, both onshore and offshore.
We will be exhibiting at OSEA 2010, from 30 November to 3 December, Suntec Singapore, Stand
